Prominent actors from the Bollywood industry and South film industry are set to star in this movie. According to our sources, Vidya Balan could play Jayalalitha in the biopic. Actor-politician J Jayalalitha’s biopic’s first look to be revealed on her birthday, February 24, 2019.
Movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his twitter account to share the information. According to him, the movie will hit the theatres on a significant date February 24 which is her birth anniversary.

Taran Adarsh adds in his other tweet that “#BreakingNews: Vibri Media – producer of #83TheFilm and #NTRBiopic – to produce #JayalalithaBiopic in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu… The producers plan to launch the movie on Jayalalitha’s birth anniversary: 24 Feb 2019… First look will also be released on the same day… contd.”
Jayalalitha was born on Feb 24, 1948 in Mandya district in then Mysore State (now Karnataka) in a Tamil lyengar Brahmin family. She worked in more than 140 movies in different languages. She stepped into showbiz in 1961 with an English film ‘Epistle’. In the same year, she debuted in a Kannada film ‘Sri Shaila Mahathme,’ as a child artist.
Producer Vishnu Vardhan also said, “We at Vibri have a Vision of telling real stories and Director Vijay is overseeing the pre-production work of the film himself as per our vision.”
The movie is scheduled to release in 2019.
