Starting from Golmaal / Golmaal Returns / Golmaal 3 / Golmaal Again/ Golmaal 5
To begin with, this list that starts with the new release and super hit movie Golmaal Again. This has been a wonderful journey when we talk about Golmaal series Rohit Shetty the director of this movie had made a wonderful experience for the last 12 years since Golmaal: Fun Unlimited was released in 2006. This is the only series that has survived for last 12 years in the history of Bollywood and still going strong. Golmaal Returns which were released in 2008, Golmaal 3 (2010) and Golmaal Again (2017) has shown a spectral increase in the box office with every film release. The audience waits for this movie and it is expected that next Golmaal will be released in next 2 years.

Tanu Weds Manu Series
Starting from Tanu Weds Manu/ Tanu Weds Manu Return/ Tanu Weds Manu Reunite
First movie Tanu Weds Manu is a romantic drama general movie which was released in 2011 and created of the bus in Bollywood. This movie features R. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and Jimmy Shergill in lead role. This was a commercials movie in North India 50 crores with the production budget of 17.50 crore. Without success, the audience was expecting another movie with the same title and same star cast so director Anand l Rai and team Tanu Weds Manu decided to make Tanu Weds Manu return. Pyar Ka Punchnama Series

Pyaar Ka Punchnama is a Hindi romantic comedy genre movie that was released in 2011. This movie was directed by Abbas Mustan with Bollywood’s Nabab Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif in a prominent role. This movie was made on a budget of 460 million and it collected 1.6 billion. After 5 years UTV Motion Pictures sign Abbas Mustan for another race which was called Race 2. In this movie, Saif Ali Khan played the lead and John Abraham played the villain in this movie along with Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez. This movie was also a commercial as it was made in 600 million and it collected 1.62 billion. This time you will see Salman Khan in lead role. Hope to get this movie in 2018 or starting of 2019. Dhoom Series
Starting from Dhoom / Dhoom 2 / Dhoom 3 / Dhoom 4
Yash Raj Films had a dream to make a buddy cop action film series and they named at Dhoom. The first movie Dhoom came in 2004 starting Abhishek Bachchan John Abraham Uday Chopra Esha Deol in lead role. This was a super hit movie and also got Filmfare Award for best editing. This movie collected 724 million with the budget of 110 million. Dhoom 2 was much bigger than ever expected by Yash Raj Aditya Chopra’s production and storyline made audience stick to their seat until the end. In this movie, John Abraham was placed by Hrithik Roshan. This movie collected 1.5 billion with a budget of 350 million.
Dhoom 3 was the third film in the Dhoom series which was much bigger in the budget then all previous films. In this movie Hrithik Roshan was replaced by Aamir Khan and Aishwarya was replaced by Katrina Kaif. This movie was made in 1.2 billion and it collected 5.58 billion. Still, Yash Raj is thinking about next Dhoom very soon. This time Yash Raj is waiting for Salman to be a part of Dhoom 4, as per reports Parneeti Chopra is going to be part of Dhoom 4.
Dabangg Series

Now we talk about the Dabangg series one man will always be remembered, Salman Khan. Dabang came in 2010 where Salman Khan played the role of Chulbul Pandey who is a police officer. This movie was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and produced by Arbaaz Khan by it’s Home Production “Arbaaz Khan productions” this movie was made in 420 million and it was a super success at box office and collected 2.1 billion. Secondhand this list is Dabangg 2 which was directed and produced by Arbaaz Khan. This movie came in 2012 and its budget was 80 crores and it collected 328 crores from the box office.
Very soon this list is going to increase with Dabangg 3, it will go on floor in mid 2018 and it will be directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Arbaaz Khan productions. After Salman Khan is free from project with Yash Raj brother Arbaaz Khan will get dates for Dabangg 3.
ABCD Any One Can Dance Series
Starting from ABCD / ABCD 2 / ABCD 3
This is the only series in Bollywood that is based on dance genre. The first movie in this series was launched in 2013 by UTV Motion Pictures. This movie is the only movie that includes real dancers choreographers from India. This movie features Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya, Kay Kay Menon, Punit Pathak and many more. It was a different genre for Bollywood and audience spread the immense love for this movie which was shown at the box office with a collection of 76 crores with just 20 crore budget.
Once again all the dance company came together for another super hit performance called ABCD2. It came in 2015 and made another success with a total collection of 165 crores. In this movie, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor were seen. Once again Varun will be part of ABCD 3, but still, the lead actress is not finalised yet.
Housefull Series
Starting from Housefull / Housefull 2 / Housefull 3 / Housefull 4
Housefull series was started in 2010 by Sajid Khan who was the director of this movie. This movie was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and its features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani and Chunky Pandey. This comedy series had made huge growth when it got released and after it was shown on TV. The movie collected 1.9 billion and it cost around 450 million.
Just after 2 years Housefull 2 came and it also made A Remarkable experience by the audience. This movie got mix review but still, audience prefer to watch this movie and it became a commercial. The movie collected 200 crores and it cost around 50 crores. There was no major change in the star cast.
Housefull 3 was directed by Sajid Farhad and it features Abhishek Bachchan, Lisa Haydon, Nargis Fakhri addition to the lead star. This movie was released in 2016 and it collected 195 crores with an expenditure costing 85 crores.
As per the latest news Housefull 4 is going to release in 2019 and once again Sajid Khan will direct the fourth movie in the series of Housefull. We can expect this movie to launch in 2020 as Akshay Kumar is busy with his upcoming biopic which is going to release in upcoming 2 years.
Hera Pheri Series
Starting from Hera Pheri / Phir Hera Pheri/ Hera Pheri 3
Classic Hera Pheri as directed by Priyadarshan who is very well known director for making hit movies. This movie came into theatres in 2000 and won Filmfare as well. This is a comedy thriller movie starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty and Tabu. When we talked about producers it was produced by A.G. Nadiadwala. This movie was made in 18 crore budget at that time and it collected 21 crores. This movie also won the best comedy movie all time Apollo conducted by the Indian Express.
Phir Hera Pheri is the second movie or we can say a sequel to the movie called Hera Pheri. This movie was only made as the audience made producers feel that this Jodi should come again for another movie to make history again. This movie was released in 2006 and it collected 69 crores and it was made in 18 crores.
Aashiqui Series
Starting from Aashiqui / Aashiqui 2/ Aashiqui 3
Earlier asking was not on a list because this Hindi musical romantic movie could not do well in 1990. But the music of this movie became best seller album and it sold 20 million units. This movie could not generate high profit as it collected globally 5 crores only. This movie was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Gulshan Kumar.
After many years Mukesh Bhatt the director of Aashiqui thought to reduce it again with new theme and storyline. This musical drama romantic film was directed by Mohit Suri and it was released in 2013. The movie features Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead role. The movie cost around 9 crores but it collected 109 crores which were never expected by anyone. This movie also changed the career of Shraddha Kapoor as an actor.
Singham Series
Starting from Singham / Singham Returns/ Singham 3
Ajay Devgan’s second series in the list after Golmaal. Singham is an action-packed movie where Ajay Devgan plays a cop. This movie is directed by Rohit Shetty. The movie got released in 2011 with a budget of 55 crores. Ajay’s action was always liked by the audience, which made this movie a super blockbuster with box office collection of 150 crores.
Singham Returns is the second list in the series of Singham. This was also an action genre movie starring Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie was directed by Rohit Shetty and Produced by Ajay Devgan Films and Rohit Shetty Production. It collected 216 crores from the box office.
