Ayushman will be portraying a blind pianist in the film and some mysterious events will happen in his life which leads to a thriller. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana is in lead role opposite actress Radhika Apte and Tabu. Along with them, Zakir Khan, Ashwini Kalsekar, Manav Vij, Chaya Kadam, Pawan and Rashmi are seen in supporting roles.
Sriram told Mumbai Mirror, “We are punning with the title as Ayushmann plays a blind pianist. It goes well with the story too. We had a lot of options in our mind, including Shoot The Piano Player, but the producers weren’t keen on using an English title. I know the real word is ‘Andhadhund’, but the ‘D’ is silent for us.”

Andhadhun story is written by Sriram Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, Yogesh Chandekar while the music of the movie is composed by Amit Trivedi. The cinematography is handled by K U Mohanan and Rajeev Ravi.
The movie is all set to hit cinema theatres on 5th October 2018.
