In my opinion, the money spent on these luxurious sites needs to be transferred towards other socially important fields like medicine and education.
To begin with, most developing countries are still lagging behind in basic fields of medicine and education which are particularly necessary for the development of any nation. Hence, governments need to spend money on medicine and education. As education is the basic requirement for all, it must be ensured to all. The money spent on theatres and sports stadiums needs to be used for the construction, development and improvement of the quality of various educational institutions.
Moreover, there are still some hidden facts in the field of medicine which need to be revealed by spending money on operation and research programs. This will definitely ensure a healthy population. There is no use of luxurious sites like theatres and sports stadiums if there is no audience to visit them.
