To initiate, educating male and female learners is co-education system has plethora of advantages. The four most and most predominant merit is it helps them to understand each other better and generate the sense of respect from the opposite gender. Moreover, they can learn better in co-education and prepare them to work together which has them to learn team building spirit beneficial for their professional career. Besides this, it saves the government from spending money on promoting and maintaining schools for each Gender and hence their monetary can be utilised in other problematic areas.
On the contrary, they undoubtedly have myriad of merits of different academic institutes for the segregated environment which helps them to concentrate. On studies more instead of mingling with each other at adolescent age. Moreover, it is mostly observed that children bought up in separate colleges are more disciplined. Furthermore, it helps to lower the molestation and physical assault rate in the society. Case in point, Arab countries has the lowest number of rape cases mainly because of different gender-specific schools.
On balance, do both viewpoints their own significance yet I believe coeducation overshadows the segregated system of education and should be promoted to give better facilities to youngsters to learn.
