Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is known as the greatest one day International and Test Cricket player in the world. In India, cricket is considered as a religion and Sachin Tendulkar as God.
Sachin Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973, at Mumbai in Maharashtra into a middle-class family. Full name of ‘Sachin Tendulkar’ is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. Sachin famously known as the ‘master blaster’ of Indian cricket. He has an immense passion for cricket since and his mother’s name Rajni Tendulkar.
He is the first batsman to score a double century in a One Day International. Sachin is the only player to complete more than 30,000 runs in international cricket. He has achieved the highest number of Man of the Match awards (56) and most Man of the Series (14) awards. He become the first batsman in the history of the game to score 100 international centuries.
He has been honored with many prestigious awards including Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, Padma Sri Arjuna Award and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, India’s highest sporting honour. Sachin Tendulkar married with Anjali Mehta, Sachin has two children Sara Tendulkar and Arjun Tendulkar.
