Renault Arkana is the upcoming new SUV by Renault India. It is going to be Hyundai Creta rival for all SUV loving market. Renault has announced a new global SUB and it will be called Arkana. Creta is Hyundai best seller and all the car manufacturer want to launch C-segment SUV crossovers to increase its sales. The new Arkana was showcased at the 2018 Moscow International Motor Show.

“Arkana” is taken from the Latin word Arcanum which means secret. As per Renault Arkana is a future crossover SUV with a sense of mystery, pioneer spirit and dynamic in nature. The new SUV is ready to go on sale in 2019, in Russia first. After the launch, it will be introduced in other countries like India, Singapore and other Asian countries. Renault is going to produce the vehicle in Moscow plant to commerce Arkana crossover.

After Renault teaser Arkana’s image which showed the vehicle front concept. Today Renault revealed the images of Arkana’s rear that engraved the name of the new SUV. Across the tailgate name of the vehicle was written and we can see the rear tail light that flows end to end. In the middle, we can see the Renault logo.

On the front, we can see stylish new C-shape LED daytime running strip. The front look quite similar to Captur. The smiling chrome grille looks dynamic. The unique design bumper will make the front bold and fluid.

Arkana will get new design twin colour interiors. The stylish new interiors look fresh with soft touch plastic. It will also get leather upholstery and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new system may get Apple Autoplay and Android Auto. It will get digital instrumental cluster which looks good inside the cabin.

When launched in India Arkana will get the same 1.5-diesel engine that produces 105 bhp at a maximum torque of 142Nm. It may get two engine option which will be mated with the 5-speed manual transmission. It will also get 6-speed automatic transmission as well.

Renault is expected to bring its new SUV in India in 2019. It may replace Duster from the Indian market.
